Black Lime is ripe limes that are dried in the sun until they oxidize, turning black and savory - giving these pancakes a tang reminiscent of a sourdough pancake, balancing the fruity, cut-grass bouquet of cardamom.

The spices in this pancake are grown by two friends in the Guatemalan Cloud Forest. They're both partner farmers with our friends at Burlap & Barrel Single Origin Spices - a new kind of spice company that works directly with partner farmers who grow the most interesting, beautiful & delicious spice varietals - just like we at Long Table work with partner farmers who grow the most interesting, beautiful & delicious heirloom grain varietals.
These spices are grown in Alta Verapaz, Guatemala, on biodynamic farms, using traditional organic methods. The farms emphasize workers' rights, sustainability and fair business practices.
MADE WITH WHOLE GRAIN LOCAL RED FIFE WHEAT
