Banana Cinnamon Sugar Donut Holes
These bites are dangerously good. Like oops ate ‘em all good. It's a quick and easy project for when you need donut holes NOW.
Servings: 10-12 small donut holes
Ingredients
1/2 cup mashed banana
3/4 cup Popcorn Pancake Mix
4 tablespoons butter, melted
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Cooking spray
Instructions
- Spray the basket of air fryer with cooking spray.
- Stir together mashed banana and pancake mix to form a shaggy, sticky dough.
- Spray hands with cooking spray. Portion dough into tablespoon-ish size lumps and form into balls with greased hands. (Dough balls will increase in size slightly during cooking.)
- Place dough balls directly onto air fryer basket. Air fry at 350° for 6-8 minutes or until slightly puffed and golden brown.
- While donut holes cook, combine sugar, cinnamon, and a dash of salt in a small bowl. Melt butter in a separate bowl.
- When donut holes are cooked, individually roll them in melted butter and then cinnamon-sugar.
Tips
Store in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
These can also be made in the oven - just bake dough balls on a greased cookie sheet at 375° for 10-12 minutes.
